Ordinary or Extraordinary - you choose!
Recently, I got to meet this truly extraordinary woman, Alexandra André 🏃♀️ She is the one who wrote me this note!
She developed a love of running from an early age and got a taste of what she was capable of when she completed her first Marathon in 2008. During her epic running career she endured many injuries, but undeterred in 2015 she chose to take on IRONMAN Melbourne. It would become a dedication to her good friend Mads, and a life changing moment in her life.
When I ordered her book just before I headed off to Lanzarote in 2022 to participate in my first Triathlon, these are the inspiring and motivational words Alex wrote in there for me:
“To Tee-Jay,
Be proud of the journey you’ve chosen to take, and every bit of effort that’s gone into it.
And believe in yourself and your ability more than ever on the 22nd - Race-Day!
Alexandra ✨”
I read her book on route to Spain and it really fired me up 🔥
